Academic Success

For thousands of members, the Club is a place to call their own. A place that exposes them to new ideas, new social interactions and new possibilities. It is a place unlike any other, where "their world" opens up. At the Clubs we focus on education and career development and offer well-designed program areas that appeal to every type of interest - from computers and fine arts, to music and performing arts, to a passion for science, educational games and everything in between that keeps the kids engaged. Education comes in many forms, and at the Clubs, all programs are designed to be fundamental, high-yield activities that incorporate learning and comprehension.
- We are considered by local schools, Priority Spokane and United Way as a key partner, in reducing the high school drop-out rate in Spokane.
- Our BE GREAT: Graduate program is one of only 20 nationwide being used by Johns Hopkins University to develop "Best Practices" that can be replicated elsewhere.
- Each year, dozens of Club teens and pre-teens engage in career and post-high school opportunities including visiting with leaders at corporate workplaces and participating in college tours throughout the Region.
- The Clubs work with partners such as Spokane and Mead School Districts, Mobius Science Center and Spokane Community Colleges to help strengthen its core educational programs.
- Each Club boasts a state-of-the-art technology center with a combined 75 computers for daily access by Club members.
