One Campaign
The One Campaign is the Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County’s on-going fundraising effort used to support programs and initiatives that effectively and immediately impact our community’s most vital asset - our youth. Right now in Spokane County, 1 out of every 3 kids drops out of high school causing an epidemic that will not only impact that young person for the rest of his/her life, but will ultimately have an adverse affect on the greater Spokane community and economy.
As a leader in trying to reverse this staggering “1 in 3″ trend, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County has found solid ground and support at all three of its Clubs (Northtown Branch, Libby Teen Center and the Lisa Stiles-Gyllenhammer Branch in Mead) thanks to comprehensive programs and life-saving services that focus on keeping at-risk youth engaged, supported and actively involved in school.
With thousands of kids always at risk of dropping out of high school in Spokane, the One Campaign is a way for corporations and individuals to join their resources and make a positive difference. This fall, we will kick off our fundraising campaign which will encapsulate three different types of giving options to ultimately encourage public and corporate participation.
1. BE GREAT For Kids Rally
The BE GREAT For Kids Rally is an invitation only social in October that will highlight Club kids and feature a keynote speech by Bill Moos, WSU Athletic Director.
2. Partners For Kids
We have always had a great relationship with local and National vendors and organizations. During the One Campaign, we will ask for their help once again in bringing awareness to the clubs by creating a special benefit for their clients/customers. 3. Individual Contribution
For those interested in directly contributing to a better future, we have multiple options to facilitate your generosity. From donation envelopes included in our newsletters, to an online donation page, to accepting checks, cash and credit cards, we believe each one of us can make a difference – no matter how big or small. Please click on the Donate Now button located below or contact us at 509-489-0741 to find out how you can contribute.
The staggering numbers and trends currently affecting Spokane’s high school students won’t change unless we as a community get involved. Please help us – Our goal is to have 3,100 people donate $31 to help reduce the 31% dropout rate in our community - your investment will truly help change the life of a child and our community!
