About our Annual Auction
Our Annual Auction raises a large portion of the funds that allow us to operate Clubs year-round in three of Spokane’s most distressed neighborhoods. Due to an uncertain economy, our membership has risen and our Clubs now serve over 4,000 young people annually or more than 500 each day. The majority of our members come from disadvantaged circumstances and unstable environments; a background that runs a high risk of other social repercussions such as dropping out of school, delinquency and dependency on welfare. Our members look to the Club as a safe and stabilizing force in their lives. The Annual Auction is a critical element in our ability to bridge the gap between the $10 Club members pay each year and the nearly $500 it costs to provide programs for just one child annually. This event continues to grow in size and amount of funds raised, as it must in order to keep up with the growth of our Clubs and the need in the community. 100% of the funds raised stay here in Spokane, serving local youth.
