The Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County depend on contributions from the community and generous people like you, to provide after school activities and facilities for thousands of young people in the Spokane community.

For those of you who are interested in giving we offer many creative philanthropic solutions to meet your needs.

Gifts of Cash

Giving a gift can be as simple as writing a check or donating on our secure webpage (make this link to donate now).  These types of gifts provide an immediate impact for the Boys & Girls Clubs, while generating a charitable income tax deduction for you.

Gifts by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)

Similar to Bill Pay, offered through many financial institutions, Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County allows you to set up a monthly, quarterly, bi-annual or annual gift schedule through our EFT option. You select the amount you wish to give and then determine the giving schedule that works best for you. We will take care of the details of processing credit cards and/or withdrawing from bank accounts automatically, allowing you to budget and plan giving on your terms.

If you have questions regarding EFT, please call Ryan Davenport at (509) 489-0741 or you can e-mail him at: rdavenport@bgcspokanecounty.org

Matching Gifts

Encouraging your employer to match your charitable gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs is a great way to involve them in the communities they serve. Some employers currently have gift matching programs. When planning your next gift to the Club, check with your company’s Community Relations department to see whether or not a matching gift program is in place. If there is, please obtain a form from your organization to complete and send to Boys & Girls Clubs of Spokane County for verification of your donation.

Upon completion of the matching gift form, please return via email, fax or USPS to Tami Meador.

Gifts of Securities

Giving gifts in the form of stocks or bonds or mutual fund shares may provide you with a tax benefit. For those securities that you have owned for more than one year and whose market value has increased since your time of purchase, capital gains tax can be avoided and a charitable income tax deduction can be realized equal to the security’s fair market value.

Gifts of Real Estate

A gift of real estate such as your home, commercial property or your farm is a very generous way to support the Clubs. You can deduct the fair market value of your gift, avoid all capital gains taxes and remove that asset from your taxable estate with this type of gift.
